2 year anniversary ticked off over the weekend.

2 years since we packed up all our belongings and shipped our lives to the sun.

2 years of this little girl growing into herself - we still have this "push pram", but it's seen better days.

Maybe a time to reflect on progress and change, keep energy for more of the same to come.

Things aren't perfect, but they've come a long way, and we've learnt a lot on the journey.

The "Gin Deck" at the rear is now far more welcoming and comfortable - even with bars on the window and hot water on the roof.

Forgive the mess, before and after.

A different kind of mess as our living room get's lived in.

The plans for the "Dining Room" have changed somewhat.

First it became "Pops' Room" and still is, albeit with a bar installed to make the most of the jalousies and view.

The courtyard has been a big change of late, turning a wasteland into a really usable area.

Ably completed by Eldon Richards, a big hearted Vincentian who subsequently sadly died from Covid.

It might not look like rapid progress, but at island pace we are doing well.

Definitely gone from somewhere uninhabitable to somewhere lived in, and grown up in.
